The Lathrop girls basketball team showed its depth and versatility in a 50-36 season-opening victory at Manteca on Friday. Freshman Breanna Wiseman led the Spartans with 17 points, six rebounds, four steals and three blocks, but it’s the contributions of many that has longtime coach Dwayne Davis excited for the new year.
